The PTA is designed to assist parents, teachers, and members of the community in engaging and empowering our students with educational, financial, and volunteer resources. Over the past two years alone, West View’s PTA raised over $100,000 that helped purchase smart panels, printers, and Chromebooks and install various safety measures to keep our kids, teachers, and staff safe.
We help teachers and staff feel appreciated by hosting several functions throughout the year, including duty-free lunches, monthly recognition events, special treats, and teacher appreciation week. The PTA contributes to school beautification, hosts family events, and sponsors Fifth Grade Graduation. We are also responsible for coordinating parent and community volunteers for many areas within the school. So... how can you help? Volunteering with the PTA doesn’t mean you are committing a lot of time. We are looking for people who may have time, talents, or resources.
Every member of our West View family has something valuable to offer! |
